A ministry to inmates in the Sedgwick county detention facility

Sandra, now on staff as a part-time employee, served CMO tirelessly for several years as a volunteer, working in the office alongside Tina and Sandy, and often carrying a full-time workload.  Not infrequently, of her own accord she also came in on Sundays to ensure that deadlines were met.  Having worked for 31 years at the Sedgwick County Health Department, Sandra has two children and five grandchildren.

Sandy, a licensed and ordained chaplain, has been faithfully serving as Program Director for Christian Ministries to Offenders since March 2011.  In addition to overseeing CMO office volunteers, she manages religious services and Bible studies, tracks CMO activity pertaining to inmate requests, and compiles monthly reports for the Sheriff’s Department.  She also serves on CMO's board of trustees and holds the position of board secretary.  In April 2016 she was  promoted to the position of Assistant Chaplain.
